If you can’t measure it . . .

There are certain things you cannot measure but instinctively know when they are present and can definitely discern when they are missing.  Among these things are essentials like love, humility and kindness that sometimes take a back burner to the more measurable gains like money, fame and titles.

How then can you teach a child character if you have no tangible way for them to keep track of their progress.  The same way you know when character is present or absent.  Instinctively.
